Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What types of CPR training do you offer?
A. We provide American Heart Association courses, including BLS for healthcare providers and CPR, AED, and First Aid training for the community. Each course covers life-saving skills for adults, children, and infants.
Q. Do participants receive certification?
A. Yes. Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive an official American Heart Association certification ecard, valid for two years. The ecard will be sent via email within 24 to 48 business hours.
Q. What areas do you provide CPR training?
A. We proudly serve the greater Nashville area and surrounding communities.
Q. Do I need to come to a classroom?
A. No. Our training is 100% mobile. We bring all the necessary equipment and materials. In the event that we do host a class the location will be provided.
Q. Is there an extra charge for travel?
A. No. All travel costs are already included in your course fees. There are no hidden charges.
Q. How many people can be in a class?
A. To ensure quality instruction and plenty of hands-on practice, our classes are limited to a maximum of 10 participants. For larger groups, we’re happy to schedule multiple sessions to accommodate everyone. Discounts are available for groups of 5 or more participants.
Q. How do I book a class for my organization?
A. You can schedule your session by contacting us directly via email or phone.
Q. Can I schedule a CPR class on short notice?
A. Yes! We offer priority scheduling for urgent requests whenever possible. Please contact us directly, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred date and time. Keep in mind that availability is limited, so early booking is recommended.
Q. Is there a fee for short notice classes?
A. Yes. Classes scheduled within 48 hours require an additional $15 per participant to accommodate priority scheduling. Please contact us directly to check availability.
Q. Do you require a deposit?
A. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking.
Q. When is the final payment due?
A. The remaining balance is due 24 hours BEFORE the scheduled session.
Q. How do I pay?
A. Invoices are sent electronically for your convenience that can be paid online by credit or debit card.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled class may be rescheduled.
Q. What if I cancel less than 48 hours before the class?
A. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will forfeit the deposit. In cases of true emergencies, we will make every effort to reschedule the class. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund may be issued at our discretion.
Q. What is blended learning?
A. Students have the option to complete a portion of the class online at their own pace and complete the skills in person (busy healthcare providers prefer this option because skills sessions are shorter vs the entire BLS class). Please call or send us an email if you are interested.
Q. How do I sign up for blended learning?
A. Go to elearning.heart.org and buy and complete the correct course. Email your certificate of completion to pay your invoice and schedule an in-person skills check-off. Please call or email us BEFORE purchasing if you are interested.
